Agreement to Terms

Description of Services

vale-serval provides pet care services including but not limited to pet grooming, dog walking, pet sitting, behaviour training, pet photography, and mobile veterinary assistance. All services are subject to availability and our acceptance of your booking request.

Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be the legal owner or authorised carer of the pet(s) for which services are requested
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Provide accurate and complete information when booking services

Bookings and Payments

Booking Process

Submitting a booking request through our website does not guarantee service availability. All bookings are subject to confirmation by our team. A booking is only confirmed once you receive written confirmation from vale-serval.

Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. We reserve the right to adjust pricing based on individual pet assessments, particularly for animals requiring additional handling time or specialised care.

Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service for single bookings. For recurring services, payment terms will be agreed upon during the initial consultation. We accept major credit cards, direct bank transfer, and PayPal.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a scheduled appointment will receive a full refund. Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the appointment will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will be charged in full.

Pet Owner Responsibilities

As a pet owner using our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your pet's health, behaviour, and any special needs
• Ensure your pet is up to date on vaccinations and provide proof upon request
• Disclose any known aggression, anxiety, or behavioural issues
• Inform us of any allergies or medical conditions requiring attention
• Provide emergency contact information and veterinarian details
• Supply any necessary medications with clear administration instructions

Our Responsibilities and Limitations

Standard of Care

We commit to providing professional, compassionate care for all animals entrusted to us. Our staff are trained in animal handling, first aid, and safety protocols.

Limitations of Liability

While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of pets in our care, we cannot be held liable for:

• Pre-existing medical conditions that manifest during care
• Injuries resulting from your pet's own behaviour or actions
• Adverse reactions to grooming products (we use hypoallergenic products and will accommodate specific requests)
• Escape or loss of pet due to inadequate containment equipment provided by the owner
• Any condition not disclosed to us prior to service

Insurance

vale-serval maintains comprehensive public liability insurance. However, we strongly recommend that pet owners maintain their own pet insurance for comprehensive coverage.

Veterinary Care

In the event of a medical emergency while your pet is in our care, we will:

• Attempt to contact you immediately using the emergency contact information provided
• Transport your pet to the nearest veterinary facility or your nominated veterinarian if reachable
• Authorise emergency veterinary treatment if we cannot reach you, with costs to be reimbursed by you

By using our services, you authorise us to seek emergency veterinary care for your pet if necessary and agree to reimburse all associated costs.
